Events should have the ability to link to a conversation like a task does. The whole core or missive is conversations, yet we can't link a conversation to an event. This is very useful for and essential for tasks - we need the same for events.

Right now a task only has a specific time to select. We need to have an option to create a time range so that when it goes into the calendar, it blocks out that time slot like events do. Examples: Make task to write report from 1pm-3pm Make task to call Nancy from 10:00am to 10:30am I could do this with an event, but I can't make an event directly from the conversation view which is the core of the software and where it would attach and create a link back to that conversation like an event does.

Hello Missive team, We are PEPITE COURTAGE (Fab French Insurance), an insurance brokerage based in France. Our team uses Missive every day, with shared addresses and collaborative workflows, on the Productive plan with 9 users. Our email and calendars are hosted by Infomaniak, a Swiss provider. We moved there from Google and Microsoft on purpose, to keep our data under European/Swiss jurisdiction and to reduce our reliance on US providers. We don't plan to go back. The problem is that Missive Calendar currently supports only Google, Office 365 and Outlook.com accounts. Your documentation says CalDAV and ICS calendars are not supported. As a result, our team can't schedule meetings, check each other's availability or reply to invitations from within Missive. Calendars are the only part of our workflow that still happens outside Missive. We would like to ask for: CalDAV calendar support (RFC 4791), with two-way sync: read, create, edit and delete events. Infomaniak serves its calendars over CalDAV at https://sync.infomaniak.com , and authentication uses an app password. Shared calendars and teammate availability for CalDAV accounts, as you already offer for Google and Microsoft. Replies to invitations (RSVP) from within Missive for CalDAV calendars. Read-only ICS subscriptions as a first step, if full CalDAV support needs more time. We think this would help many European teams who have chosen sovereign providers, such as Infomaniak, Nextcloud, mailbox.org , Posteo or Fastmail. Could you tell us whether CalDAV support is on your roadmap and, if so, roughly when it might arrive? We would be happy to test a beta. Tasks with due dates show up in the calendar, but they aren't calendar events, so they don't trigger calendar reminders. Right now, task notifications only go out when a task is assigned to you, completed, marked as in progress, or when its assignees change. There's no reminder before a task's due date.

Outlook has a great feature where I can search by name/title for calendar events. Would be great to have that in Missive

Two small changes would make the snooze calendar much easier to use: Make weekend shading darker/more visible so it is easier to quickly identify Monday/Friday without reading the weekday labels. Allow clicking the month/year title to jump directly to another month or year instead of repeatedly using the arrows. Snooze is an important feature for our team, so these small usability improvements would make a big difference.

Can we reconfigure notifications from Calendar reminders for events? There should be a very obvious pop up that stays front until acknowledged. Since transitioning to Missive, I have missed several meetings from not noticing reminders. Occasionally I see a small box reminder. But most times, I swear I never saw anything at all. Yes, notifications are on. But I think it could be better.

Allowing multiple items to be quickly repositioned without changing the Snoozes individually

If the calendar offered the possibility of adding a group survey on availability proposed by the organizer, it would be a game changer! Coordinating the availability of an external group of people is a nightmare in email mode.

There are too many steps to access a calendar view on android. I have to search for calendars then go to monthly. As a result I still have to use google calendar.
