Here is how Dropbox Paper handles inline link creation. If the user has a URL already in the clipboard, then selects some text in their draft message and then pastes the URL, instead of replacing the text with the URL (which is the default expected behavior for the paste command, but not what anyone actually wants in this situation) it leaves the text in place but turns it into a hyperlink pointing at the URL that was in the clipboard.
Please save me a couple keypresses and make it easier to turn a bit of text in my document into a hyperlink. Dropbox Paper has the best most graceful way of handling link creation, can you please copy it exactly?
