Sync "Delegated contacts" from Google
Joda Stößer
The "Import / sync contacts from Google" (https://missive.canny.io/feature-requests/p/import-sync-contacts-from-google) feature is great, but it only syncs your own contacts.
Contacts delegated to (meaning "shared with") you are not included. With use this feature in Google Workspaces quiet a lot to provide each other with up to date and complete contact information.
They should be (optionally) included in the contact sync. Maybe in a separate Missive address book that is read-only.
The same is true for "Other contacts", which are automatically added when you send an email to an address previously unknown (Feature request: https://missive.canny.io/feature-requests/p/sync-other-contacts-from-google).

I'm curious, aren't those 'delegated contacts' attached to at least one real email account you could import in Missive and share with colleagues?

Philippe Lehoux: Not currently, no. Google Workspace contact sharing features are not as up to snuff as we want it to be and for a time we managed them in an external CRM.
Currently everyone has their own address book with the contacts they need and if they are relevant to other people, they will delegate/share them.
We don't have a system where there is one "contact account" where all contacts are put and up to date. That would require all employees to regularly log in to it to update the contacts and also register them on their devices. Not practical.
