Solo paid plan

I would love a 'solo' plan that is somewhere between the two paid plans you already have, which allows for solo usage only, thus fitting freelancers like me best. I am a bit turned away by the price of the unlimited plan and wouldn't need the team features at all, but would love to see all my e-mail instead of only recent mail.

Agreed to, I really like this app and appreciate the efforts behind the new system, but as a freelancer I am not sustainable at this price point for casual work. Of course, it would be nice to work in a team and I would like to organize my own tasks into a data folder by different aspects so that important tasks don't get lost in the jungle of correspondence. This works in solo too.
Obviously, if it were cheaper, it might even be suitable for teamwork as a project.

Agreed, I find Missive to be the best email client for personal use as well. A price tier for that kind of use would really allow someone like myself to support the product.

Would be great if business users could use get a family account per organisation.

I am an individual user and I am interested in Missive as I have email addresses for multiple companies I work with, one of which uses Hubspot. I would like access to unlimited history and integrations. However as an individual user the Productive plan seems expensive and overkill for what I require.
If this existed I would 100% use Missive and recommend it to my colleagues!

The idea left by Ryan Anstey makes a lot of sense. It is, in fact, the exact use case that I need - there are several email accounts my wife and I share access to, but don't exactly operate as a team inbox. This really wouldn't require a additional overhead of storage on Missive's side, as the email accounts are the same. But it would allow for some "family sharing" in the same context that I now can't do without for my business email client....It would be nice if this could be included as a bonus feature for the paid plans - but a small added cost could work, too. It's the extra full subscription cost just for family member sharing that we can't make work. Philippe Lehoux thanks for considering!

Family plan (at a cheaper price)

I use Missive all day and it would be lovely if I could comment on emails with my wife and use the teams for managing our family. I couldn't justify the cost for personal use.
Something as simple as requiring us to be a part of a Productive level organization, we could get a bonus organization with a 2-member limit for family use for free/cheap.

A new plan for low-budgeted Missive users.
5$ per month
History: Unlimited
Users up to: 2 or 1
Shared accounts: 1 or 0
Integrations, Rules, API access, SAML Single Sign-On, IP restriction: No
I believe this custom plan will encourage free plan users to move to this plan.
For example, I used Missive in 16 receipts using 18$ productive plan past 2021-2022 years. But due to inflation and our country's banking restrictions, I had to cancel my plan and I used to manage everything through the Free plan.
Currently, I have only 1 doubt that email history. I don't need other features for my operations. But just only for history limitations, I can't go for 14$ - 18$ plan.
So believe this custom new plan will be very helpful for users like me and it will encourage free plan users to move to this new plan.
It's a win-win for the user and Missive financials.

I think this is a great middle ground that should be discussed. As a small business with one team mate, I can see how this would be helpful for us that will allow us to grow into the Productive Plan and beyond as we grow.

I disagree with this viewpoint. The Missive platform places a strong emphasis on enhancing business communication through collaborative email.
As pointed out by Johnny Arthur, Google and Microsoft already provide basic features for sharing email addresses.
The reason behind my disagreement comes from the fact that it would not be in Missive's best interest to expand their offerings for individuals seeking a personal or hobby email tool. Instead, they should maintain their focus on serving as an enterprise solution.
I do not believe that Missive requires another method to convert their free users. The current free tier is quite restrictive, and they offer this service as an alternative to a traditional X-day free trial.
As a SaaS application, the path to increasing their ARR from $2 million (which I believe is their current level) to $5 million does not involve solely signing up more small teams with 1-2 seats. Rather, it involves continuously improving their application to consistently attract businesses that align with their Enterprise tier.
In simpler terms, what you are requesting is likely not aligned with the customer profile that Missive aims to attract.
