We use Missive for a lot of internal communication - chats between team members, comments on emails, etc. Oftentimes there is more internal than external communication happening. The end result is that inbox becomes a giant mix of new incoming emails and existing threads (emails and chats) where team conversations are happening.
I like to give my team top priority as they're usually reaching out because they need more guidance or support on a task. If their messages get lost in my inbox (amongst a sea of notification emails, spam, customer requests, etc) and don't get a timely response, they aren't staying productive and the company is wasting money.
I'd really like to see a way to separately view actual email inbox (threads where there are new messages coming/going via email) and a "chat/comment" inbox (threads where team members have posted chat or private notes on a email) that shows messages awaiting my reply to my team.
