The issue is that accepting a proposed new time isn't something Missive supports. The calendar handles standard invites attached to emails, so you can reply Yes, Maybe or No to the original invite, but the "propose a new time" counter-offer is a Google Calendar specific flow that Missive can't currently act on.

That's why the button spins and nothing happens, and why going into Gmail works.
