I'd like to suggest adding a native microphone button directly inside the Missive AI chat/assistant panel, similar to how Shopify Sidekick, Intercom, and other modern AI assistants handle voice input.

How it would work:

The user clicks a microphone button inside the AI assistant panel

Audio is captured in the browser and sent to a voice-to-text API (e.g. OpenAI Whisper or Gemini's equivalent) using the user's own API key

The transcribed text is returned and populated as the AI input prompt

Optionally, this could enable a back-and-forth voice conversation with the AI, similar to ChatGPT's voice mode

Why this matters:

Third-party dictation tools like Monologue work well for individual power users, but they're not practical to roll out across a whole team. A native microphone button inside Missive removes that friction entirely - team members are far more likely to engage with the AI assistant if they can simply click a mic and speak, rather than configure a separate tool.
