I would like to share a few suggestions that could help improve the Missive interface, particularly the left-side pane, message workspace, and overall usability.

### Interface & Visual Design

* Consider a more modern and cleaner visual refresh across the interface.

* Introduce subtle for buttons, menus, pop-ups, sidebars, and floating controls.

* A light translucent/glass effect could give Missive a more polished and premium feel, especially on , while keeping everything clear and easy to read.

* Improve the shape, spacing, alignment, and display of sections and labels.

### Left-Side Pane Improvements

* Move the option closer to the bottom menu.

* Add and options for sidebar sections.

* Add a option to prevent users from accidentally moving or rearranging sections.

* Clearly separate the sidebar into sections such as:

* Personal Space

* Search

* Tasks & Snooze

* Favourites

* Team Inboxes

* Labels

* Chat

* External Shares

* Custom

### Better Team & Admin Control

* Allow admins or team managers to manage common sidebar settings from the section.

* Shared labels and Team Inboxes could be placed in a centrally managed common area for all team members.

* This would help avoid accidental changes to the sidebar layout. I often find myself having to rearrange the team label sections again after they have been moved.

### Display & Accessibility

* Add or general interface-size controls.

* This would be especially useful on , where some icons and interface elements can be difficult to see clearly.

### Integrations Pane

* Allow the to expand further, become wider, or open as a pop-out window.

* Google Sheets, Google Docs, and similar integrations are currently difficult to view comfortably within the limited pane size.

### Message Thread Controls

* Add frequently used email-thread actions directly to the top message toolbar, such as:

* Expand All Messages

* Collapse All Messages

* Summarise Thread

* Other commonly used actions

* This would reduce the need to repeatedly open the for everyday actions.

### Message / Chat Bar

* It would also be useful to review the positioning and usability of the to make it easier and more comfortable to use.

Overall, these changes could make Missive feel more modern, organised, flexible, and easier to manage across teams, while also improving usability on smaller laptop screens.
