MCP Server For Claude / Open AI

As AI develops I miss the fact that cannot query conversations as via outlook or gmail we can use ai with those tools to summarise threads and even write emails.
However the core of missive is that there is a conversation and even files that can be added to the conversation around those threads.
Now I actually make 3-4 screenshots and paste to Claude but it’s not a great system.
Any plans for this ?

Any updates. The big MCP Server announcement but it is only to access external data from inside missive. What's happening on this request? Your Reddit says there are no plans to implement this. Is that true?

Hopefully this is imminently on the way!! It's essentially the final piece of the puzzle to pull every different comms channel together into an AI chat window so it has constant full context.

Although in this case Missive built an AI assistant inside Missive, which is great, this request is a little different. I want Missive to build an official MCP for accessing Missive from AI Agents outside Missive.
I ended up building the MCP server myself, using Claude to build it.
The difference is that I can paste a link to the email in Claude, and it can pull from Missive, but I also added write support so it can create drafts. For example, if you have to make an update to 400 customers, I can get Co work to make a personal email and create 400 drafts in Missive :)
Having the MCP in Claude means you can also pull other data from meeting transcripts, Pipedrive, or any other MCP. While I think the AI Assistant in Missive is very useful, it only works on the emails and calendar in Missive, and this is where MCPs are different

you can do it over the custom API integration, I am actually now working on n8n workflow, where on the "pop up" pannel is one part of it - more or less passive info retrieval and a custom "account" over WA business - connected to the same n8n. I know F#*k all about coding - I have a wholesale with table top - so it takes me longer, yet it is feasible. good luck
