Description

Currently, tasks in Missive can only be tied to an email thread or left unlinked. There is no way to associate a task directly with a contact. This means that when we have work related to a client, lead, or partner that is not tied to a specific email, there is no easy way to connect that task to the right person in Missive.

Feature Request

• Allow tasks to be linked directly to a contact in Missive.

• When viewing a contact, we should see all tasks associated with them, regardless of whether those tasks are tied to emails.

Why This Matters

Many of our tasks come from phone calls, in-person meetings, or internal planning, and these do not always have an associated email thread. Being able to link these tasks directly to a contact would give us a complete view of all work related to that person, help us avoid missing important follow-ups, and eliminate the need to maintain separate tracking systems.
