When we merge conversations (sometimes days after receiving them), the displayed date becomes the merge date instead of the date of the last email in the thread.

This disrupts chronological organization and makes inbox sorting less accurate.

Would it be possible to keep the conversation positioned according to the date of the most recent email in the thread, rather than the merge date?
