We use tags for our sales pipeline (for example, New, Contacted, Invoiced, Closed, etc.). And we have different sales pipelines for different products.
The first problem is that when a stage changes, we have to remove one tag and add another one. It would be better if there was a single select option, so that when you change a stage, the previous tag is removed automatically.
The second problem is that we end up with 15+ tags for different stages in different pipelines. It would be great if we could define several single select options and use them in different cases.

Although we have the labeling option.
We also need to apply status stages on emails, to quickly see and know at what stage it is currently.
We use labels to identify the main contents of the email, but we also need to pit email on hold until we can do or reply. We would neeed a dropdown option to aplly stages to an email.
It would be awesome to have the ability to quickly update stages by rules, within the email or from outside the email.

Missive meets Airtable?

David Huck: We haven't used Airtable. But we are using Notion, I think it's something similar. Besides, Notion also has tags and single select and it's very handy.
