Information about the From email address should be exposed to the signature as a variable. That would allow us to have one template for all signatures rather than having to duplicate a signature multiple times in order to have the correct information for all shared inboxes.

You may now use these variables:
{{ message.from_email }}
{{ message.from_name }}
{{ message.from_first_name }}
{{ message.from_last_name }}
They will be populated based on the selected alias of the draft.

It would be great to have some alias.x variables, such as alias.email or alias.name.

In my case, I need to add our emails in our shared signatures, and we currently can't get the aliases email instead of the user.email.

Zev Belsky user.name gets the name from the profile. Not the email address the message is sending from.
