While testing Missive as a potential replacement for Front we came across one big red flag and that is the Calendar functionality. Here are a few of the issues:
1. Inability to view co-workers calendars without subscribing. Need view only capability.
2. Inability to view inline other calendars when creating a calendar event. Having to open each person's calendar in a separate window does not work.
  1. The Event screen covers the entire app and does not let you re-position it.
  2. Graying out days that are in the past in the calendar view - when in weekly mode. (not a show-stopper)
Please see attached screenshot for what has become an optimal set-up for our team. I hope you will consider making some changes, as scheduling events with the calendar is a big part of conversations/collaboration that is vital to all.
