Assign team emails without moving them from the team inbox

I would love to be able to assign an email to a team member but keep the email in the team inbox until the conversation is closed.
Kinda like Apple reminders work. The conversation would be in the team inbox until closed but would have an icon saying it was assigned to a specific team member.

Maybe good to make this adjustable for each team or it should work as it does now or work as in the request (because for some teams of us, it's nice to immediately put it to just the person)
