It would be really helpful to be able to select a template when creating a draft through the API (or Zapier/Make).
A simple first version could look something like this:
  • template IDs are shown in the "Responses" interface.
  • The Create draft endpoint gets an option to set the template ID which sets/overwrites the content of the draft.
  • A second option in the Create Draft endpoint should be an array of variables which should match the template variables set in the interface.
This way we can manage canned response emails in Missive and trigger them from other systems. eCommerce, CRM, HRM, etc.
