Our latest update yesterday lets you set an alternative signature to managed signatures. You can configure this in your managed signature settings, it will be applied to everyone using that signature.

yes! Love the managed signatures in Missive, but full blown signatures on long email chains is quite tiresome. I've employed the workaround of creating an alias that I call "reply signature" that has the same account as the email account, and assigning an abbreviated signature to that, but it's another step in selecting that alternate reply-to alias. Each alias should have a selectable signature default for "new message" and "reply". Just like Outlook.

Figured out an automated work-around: Create an alias that has the same email by going to Settings -> Account-> Select account -> Aliases. Name the main/original alias "Long Signature" and the new alias "Short Signature". Create and assign the respective signatures to each alias.
Now go to Preferences -> Composer -> Defaults. Select the "Short Signature" as the default sender address. You won't be able to see the alias name in the drop down, so you'll have to do trial and error although the new alias should be the second one. Turn on slider for "Always send replies from selected address above". Be sure "Always create new drafts from selected address above" slider is OFF.
The behavior seems to be that new emails will then be created using the main/original alias, thus that signature. Reply and forward emails will then use the alternate alias and its signature.
A bit convoluted and so an actual setting for this is still needed, especially if one has multiple signatures, but this will get you by for now.

Yes, and please make this centrally managed as a property of the managed signature, not leaving it up to individual users to configure it. We want to achieve consistent behavior across our organization and way too many settings in Missive are configured at the user level, rather than at the organization level.
