We're using missive with good success in our law practice.
We use Clio for documents and to store conversations, and were accustomed to using Clio's gmail app to send information to clio.
Right now we have to chose between gmail webmail for the clio app, and using Missive for everything else.

The issue we have with Missive & Clio is that when using Missive for email, we lack the Clio add-on which allows emails to be uploaded to Clio's Communications tab.
Integrating with Clio could be a matter of syncing Clio Matters to a folder of Labels, letting us label emails as belonging to tags.
Or creating an in-Missive window which lets email content get uploaded to Clio (as the current gmail/clio integration does)
